Land Rover Defender Towing a 12 Tonne Truck

The Land Rover Defender is already reknown for it’s stump pulling low end torque. However, the recently updated Defender features an innovative new anti-stall technology. Watch, below, as the Defender 90 pulls a 12 tonne truck first normally, then with no throttle input and finally without a driver or throttle. At the end, and perhaps most impressively, the big truck puts on its brakes and the 90… well, just watch.

This could make for an impressive feature when driving the steep boulder and slickrock strewn trails around Moab and the Rocky Mountains.
