SPOT, LLC, makers of the SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger, have issued a recall on all second generation SPOT Messengers, dubbed the SPOT 2. This voluntary recall affects all SPOT 2s sold after October 1, 2009. 1st Generation SPOT Messengers are not affected by this recall.
